After a commercial
education with VOLVO Switzerland and a practical training with VOLVO FRANCE in
Paris he started 1988 his professional career as a personnel
adviser with ADIA Interim SA.

From 1989 to 1996
he was working for SMH/Swatch group, inter alia 4 years based in Hong Kong, first as assistant and later as marketing and
sales manager responsible for managing independent agents within South-East Asia, the Middle
East, the Ind. Subcontinent and partially Eastern Europe. Major tasks
were to develop & implement marketing & communication strategies, to
plan, organize & manage (press-) conferences, promotions & trainings
as well as to gather market intelligences and
competitor know-how.

After 2 years as
head of the Swiss market with RAICHLE Boots AG, a company producing &
selling traveling, ski and snowboard-shoes, he helped building up
in 1998 Tele2 Telecommunication Services AG in Switzerland. As head
of marketing & communication, representative press spokesman and member
of the Swiss management team he was decisively involved in making Tele2 No 3 in
the liberalized Swiss telecommunication market at that time.

In 2000 he founded
"bmc marketing consulting". Since that time he
is advising as an independent marketing and communication consultant
various customers. From 2004 until 2011 he presented the news as
well as various broadcastings for
the regional TV station "TeleBielingue", acted from 2004 until 2006 as managing
director of the Bernese Association for the protection of the build
environment and from 2007 until 2008 as co-managing director of a
Swiss watch trading company. In 2009 he replaced during 6 month
(sabbatical) the spokesperson of the city of Thun. Since 2011 he is
editor and TV presenter of "TeleBärn Geld", the business format of
regional TV-station TeleBern.

After having received a
marketing diploma from the Swiss training institute for marketing,
advertising, communication
& sales SAWI in Biel he got in 2001 the higher marketing-certificate
GfM/IMB at the university of Bern, in 2004 the "Executive Master
of Corporate Communication management" NDS FH and in 2010 the
"Master of Advanced Studies in Corporate Communication Management" from the university of
applied sciences Solothurn / Northwestern Switzerland.
